Yesterday in Miami, professionals from across the aesthetic spectrum gathered to discuss everything from compliance to finance (important business metrics) and ultimately digital marketing. The speakers included experts in each of these areas and focused on one central theme:
Providing expert, quality, compassionate care just isn’t good enough! That is the MINIMUM required just to get in the game. If you want to run a successful aesthetic practice, then you have to accept that you are running a BUSINESS. And this business needs PROFIT. PERIOD.

I understand why he felt this way given his long-term career as a surgeon. Unfortunately, that was NOT the point of the seminar. In fact, it was the exact opposite.
How do I know about this? I WAS THE SPEAKER.
The point was: How can you make patients LOOK and FEEL their very best within the context of running a business that requires profit? It’s all about recognizing the fact that the modern aesthetic medical consumer has choices. Potential patients have dozens of choices within just a few miles, and care providers NEED to put their best foot forward to bring these consumers to THEM. The reality is: sometimes being good enough just isn’t good enough.
